hi all

I have just installed Acrobat 5.0 and am learning.

We were sent a pdf form - in one column it has freight amount which we need to edit. Can I do this???
cheers

Jewel,
Your ability to actually edit your PDF file is very limited. You might be better off to request the sender either edit the original, re-PDF, and re-send OR send you the original doc/file (Word, Excel, PageMaker, etc.) and edit it on your side and then re-PDF.

Think of PDF as a "locked-down" format where you can't (generally) make corrections to the actual PDF file. This is one of the points that make PDF's so powerful. It's "locked-down" in such a way that it will always look exactly the same where ever it may be sent and on any desktop worldwide.

Your best bet is to re-work the original file and re-PDF.
