I created a new column in my data window. In the properties of this new column under edit, I set the style to edit. But unfortunately when I create an executable and run it, it shows this column as non editable. I cannot enter a value or change the value of this column. Any help is appreciated.

whenever you add a column to a datawindow object, you need to do set the edit style (you did), you need to set the tab order to some value > 0 and you need to set the update properties for that column.
