Does anyone know how to edit the "New" menu? Like New Folder, New Shortcut...I want to delete items from this list that I never use. Thanks.

Q

There's a difference between "fixing the problem" and "making it work".

Anything look familiar here?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Discardable\PostSetup\ShellNew

Several Registry Cleaner type programs have the ability to remove these entries, maybe even TweakUI or similar.

jv16 PowerTools, but not freeware.

Or the older and free earlier version of the same program?

Thank you. Both of your posts were helpful.
