Hi all

I am new to watchguards so be gentle.

Can anyone recommend an adsl router which will pass through protocol 50 and port 500 without any major issues? The client is small with about 80 users over two sites. I dont want to go and buy a linksys or netgear for example if I cannot set up the point to point vpn through them.

Must admit it did throw mw because the FW is usually not behind anything and I had to scratch my head on how to get the vpn through the adsl router.

I have not tested the set up yet, I want to be fully prepared so I can walk onsite and get it installed rather than looking like a muppet.

rather than point to point vpn Watchguard call it a "branch office" connection.

Use an ADSL router you can switch to transparent bridge mode and let the Watchguard control the connection.
