Some of my sites are requiring me to stop POS process and start POS processing to "reconnect" to the Visanet processor to authorize over IP?

I am logged on as a admin, the edc service is logged on as a admin as well.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks

Kevin

The message I am getting right before I need to restart EDC POS Process is "Could not make SSL connection to host"

Any help would be appreciated!

What version are you running? I believe this is a fairly common problem.

6.4

I might of found the problem. Been 1 day working so far.

You are temporarily losing internet connectivity while authorizing. If you are using a backup modem it will continue to use the modem until restarted. If no backup modem is installed or assigned it will just be unable to connect. You can assign a number of transactions before retrying the internet or SSL in newer versions.

Needs some help. Once in the ALOHA V6.4 EDC Screen, and I have added the VisaNet Processor, entered all of the necessary Mercahnt informaiton, I don't know where to add the SSL Information? There's a GATEWAY Menu, and it doesn't show where I can add VisaNet. Is there is SSL Library where I can add VisaNet to the SSL Library?

Though I was setup to get into the ALOHA EDC V6.4, if I have to do it again at another site, does any out there have the Username and Password to get into the EDC V6.4, and make the necessary Processor Changes?

You will need to have a user created Aloha Manager first with back office privileges.

Once you are able to get into EDC you then need to go to:
File > Stop POS Processing and click yes on the message that pops up. <Make Sure If configured with another processor you have settled the Batch>

Then click Configuration > Processors

If this is not available then you do not have the right permissions.

If you do not know what you are doing it is best to have your reseller configure this for you.
