EDC expired password

EDC is telling me I have an expired password, I have changed it several times and done a refresh, same message. I can also put ANYTHING in the password field and it gives me the same message. Anyone know whats going on?

Using aloha v 7.0.5
 
EDC 7.0.X requires strong password. Make your Password at least 7 characters long with letters and numbers from Aloha Manager. Then refresh and see if your new password works in EDC.

How do I refresh the data? I might be doing that part wrong...
 
We use config center, where is manager located?
 
log in to aloha cfc and change your password. It should give tell you the same message and from there you will need to create a new password that is 7 characters, with one capital letter, one number, and an alphanumeric character and can not be your previous 5 passwords.
 
Followed all the steps, its still not working.

 
EDC is version 7, but what is your base version of Aloha? If you're running a version of Aloha in the 6.7.4x range there are known password issues and the version of EDC is irrelevant. Since you are using config center, playing around with certain SQL fields to band-aid the issue, which is what you can do in stand-alone config center (New Aloha Manager) won't really help you. Unless this was a temporary issue due to issues on the Aloha server side, you might have to contact them or your dealer to resolve the issue.
 
what version of CFC and new aloha manager are you running? You may need to upgrade the version of CFC to resolve the issue.
 
CFC v 13.9.0.8812

I have never used just straight aloha manager, always CFC
 
I called my reseller and they updated CFC, and that fixed the issue! thanks sheerdyn!
