Hi,
We are having a problem with one of our reports at the minute. We are getting the error "No HTML OUTPUT! EDA no/data". This error will occur on one machine but not on another (on the other machine the report will run normally). I know that usually this means that there is no data for the report to display but it's the fact that it runs on one machine and not on another that is confusing me.

Another point is that we have mirror copy of the reports system on another server and we are having no problems with that at all. The report runs without a hitch.

Any thoughts or solutions you have folks would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
J

This message indicates there is no report but also no error. If the code is identical on the 2 systems, take a look at the data. There is a good chance that the report on this system is producing 0 rows. Add a -SET &ECHO=ALL; to the fex and then run the report and look at the out out. Is there a 0 RECORDS message or some other error you didn't see before? There is the possibility that something else is causing the program to end.

Hi WFGuru,
I added a -SET &ECHO=ALL to the file and it now works on both machines.

Thanks a million
