EcVirusScanOneMessage error message

Hi guys,

I am getting error messages in the application log for Exchange 2000 as follows:

Unexpected error 0x8004010f occurred in "EcVirusScanOneMessage".

I have done a Microsoft search, and they gave me nothing, I searched the internet and all I could find was reference to RAV software which is not installed. We currently use Trend antivirus software.

Any suggestions.
 
EcVirusScanOneMessage refers to RAV Exchange 2000 anti virus program.

RAV is owned by GeCAD software (Romanian) who are also a Microsoft Gold partner.

MS are also giving away RAV AV free with MS Small Business Server...

what does all this mean to you???

well it may not directly answer your ? but it may go some way to how it got on your system...

do you have MS SBS?

Did you do an online scan from a web browser using the free RAV online scanner, if you did, then perhaps part of it installed.
