I've developed a shopping cart for a website that is to tie into MACOLA. I've managed to insert a new customer into the AR Customer File, a Quote type order into Order Entry along with the line items. I've also updated the Order Summary table, and incremented the next Quote Number in the Control File.

But I'm unable to Pick Ticket on these Quotes! The Quotes are converted into firm Orders from within MACOLA.

Does anyone know what the proper steps are and in which order they are run to take an order from a website and insert it into MACOLA?

You need to convert to an order first, then print a pick ticket.

I've converted the quote to an order.

I believe my problem to be in the data I write to the Order Header and Line Items Tables. Is there a special mix of date ranges or something which makes the Pick Ticket GO?

You may need to post some of the particulars of what you write to some of the fields in macola. Especially the Date fields in oe hdr and line, values etc.

Manually enter a quote, then convert it to an order. After you have done this compare the raw data from your manually entered order to the one from the website using SQL Enterprise Manager.
