Hi Friends

I have a very severe issue of echo and noise when i activate call recording option using voicemail pro in IPOffice 500 version 4.2.11 system
the noise only comes on external calls on analog lines , in internal calls the voice is perfect.
i had grounded the device and also tried changing the gain settings in the analog line options as well as in the extension settings but nothing seems to be working.

is there ne other setting that can help.

thanks

I am almost sleeping :)
I went out of bed at seven this morning to see formula 1
And then the worst part is the summertime that went it last night so it really was six :)

I will be in bed in 5 hours :)

Those dog smell like hell, my ex girlfriend had one of those. Even if you had gave them a bath after a hour they smell again.

The 403 and 406v1 ARE half duplex hubs and missed tlpeters list. I know most would like to forget those two units but they still exist and the data can be found in the matrix....with neo and a white rabbit.

They are not in the 4.2 matrix :)

@tlpeter.
Since you are a formula 1 fan you are forgiven as long as you have contempt for Ecclestone. If you are related then I meant admire Ecclestone. I wonder if you could get a IPO to run off the KERS on the 2009 Ferrari. I have seen small birds with larger wings than the new cars have.

I tried changing it to 100 mbps hail duplex on the phones and voicemail server reduced the noise but its still there.
when i turn the recording off the noise and echo is not there and the lines are very silent.
moreover i am using the recording with out the contact store license could that also be the problem for this noise.
basically the noise comes in the form of jitters after each word is spoken.
i tried changing the gain setting onthe extension as well as but in vain.

There are some recording problems in 4.2.11
In the next release this is solved so oyu have to wait

In my experience - it has always been the confencing chip on the IP Office that causes static - get a new IP Office.

You can try just a manual 'record' of a conversation - if you being to get static again - bad chip - replace unit.

I've probably replaced close to 10 units over the last 7 years because of this issue.

@CLWINGET
@Orintas
