Echange 5.5 Enterprise question? Stopped receiving E-mail?

Hello all,

I just had a weird problem I hope you can help me with. My Exchange 5.5 Server SP4 just stopped receiving internet e-mail as of yesterday 2:48pm. There are no errors in the event log about a service failing, nothing just stopped for no apparent reason. Has anybody had this occur to him or her?

Any DNS changes either by you or ISP? What's your public domain name?

Is the IMC on your server or do you route external mail through someone else?

We have the IMC installed on the Exchange Server and DNS was all right since we could send e-mail just fine. I'll hold on to our domain name for now. Shutting down the Exchange services and restarting them fixed the problem.
