Are the only phones supported the 2400,4600 and 6400 series ?

You could use the 8400 series too. I don't think the 7400 series is supported.

In the future everything will work...

In the latest version of EC500, the only phones supported are the 6400 series and greater. There is a work around, but it's not the most gracefull thing in the word.

The only phones supported by the latest flavor of EC500 (V5 I believe) are the 6400 series sets and newer. No 7400 or 8400 support. However there is a work around, but it is a bit messy.

Sorry for the double posts....my PC went haywire....

Thanks for the replies. Could you give me an overview of the workaround

Actually EC500 does not need to be associated with your primary extension. You could create a "xmobile" type station and assign that xmobile station a bridged appr of your primary phone.
