EC500 phone not working 1

Hi There

I have 2 x ec500 phones working through to their mobile phones

This is on an 8700.

I've tried to add a third with the same settings as the previous two but alas the throughput to the mobile isn't working.

Any thoughs out there.

do you have enough licenses?...check your customer options
 
I think we have but how do i check - which command.

with configuring the software, did you use the FAC to activate ec500? status the station to see if it's active

Check this out thread690-1327715 . You make sure that your using the correct voicemail detection for the correct network. Setting it to timed or no voicemail detection is the best way to test for this problem.

Other than that could you be more specific as to what you mean by "it's not working". Is it just not ringing the mobile? Is the mobile ringing but when you pick it up it immediately hangs up?

I've printed off status status and on the extension the EC500 is disabled - how do i enable it

display feature access codes
look for ec500 activation codes
 
well, what version are you running, CM4.0 (maybe 3.0 not sure) has an ec500 button

I've found the ec500 activation = *500

I've tried *500 on the new station and still nothing just getting a flat tone
 
If you use feature access codes to activate ec500 you will need a security code on the ext (page one on the station form). I would just put ec500 button on the set and give a push, then stat staion and confirm enabled, Then run a list trace on the station as you call it from your set. If thats still not working post your trace.
