I have set up ec500 (xmobile)to block a 877 number. The calls still go through. I checked my configs with another number and it blocked the call. How are they getting around my block using ec500?

Why wouldn't you create a table and add to your vector to disconnect if ani is in table? Not sure why you would use EC500 (not a rhetorical question)?

and you've checked to see you have the proper COR on the dummy station?

Yes I have the right cor and I have tried it on another number and it worked fine. We had over 3000 calls yesterday. we have 10000 lines and they are all getting calls.

Saiyan656,

Doing via a table will only apply to the VDNs associated with that vector.
Doing it via EC500 will block the incoming call on all DID's coming in the switch.

Sailan656, the reason why you would want to use the EC500 method, is it blocks those calls to any extension in you system, not just the one you vector is assigned to.

Letman2, try putting a 1 in the dial prefix section of in the Off-PBX page. I have found that some carriers will send it and some don't. And if you put in the dial prefix, it will take it ether way. But what you have in the Phone number must match 100%.

Thanks Shafe and DAVIDPAYNE for the Clarification. I just use my portal from provider to blacklist, but this option is also go to know.

Are you using SIP trunks? If you are you will need the 1+ of not you may need to add the 1 as stated before

We also are having the same issue, pri trunk direct call to a did number, if I put my cell number on the block it works great but for some reason I can not block an 860-xxx-xxxx number. It always gets through, I know the trunk it is coming in on as I have it captured on a call accounting report. Any ideas
