User has EC500 set up
tation Application Dial CC Phone Number Trunk Config
Extension Prefix Selection Set
8255 EC500 1 - 646XXXXXXX ars 1
Station Call Mapping Calls Bridged
Extension Limit Mode Allowed Calls
8255 2 both all none

When he calls his desk phone 8255 from his cell phone and EC500 is disabled calls to his desk phone ring then voicemail picks up but the call never releases from his desk phone - it just keeps ringing. He has a 2410 set. If he put a call on hold this scenario happens, but if we are actively talking on his line calls from his cell to his desk phone is works OK, meaning it goes right to vm.

(EC500 OFF) After change when calling the desk phone with the cell phone it would just keep ringing, even after hanging up Any cell phone programmed into the EC500 feature (mine, George and Mary) if we used the cell phone programmed into the system to call any of the desk phones using EC500 , it would just keep ringing.. even after hanging up.

ec500 allows bridged calls for the cell and the associated desk phone.

Why would a user call his desk phone from the ec500 cell number? This is not a good test.
For testing, you should enable ec500 button/code then make an incoming call to the desk phone extension from an unrelated outside number.
This call will ring the desk phone and cell at the same time. The call can be picked up at the desk phone or cell phone.
Active call on the cell or the desk phone can then be picked up by each phone.

There were 3 users set up with EC500. If EC500 is off and user 1 calls from his cell to user 2 the same thing happens. The phone just rings and rings. I agree calling yourself seems odd but it should go to voicemail in either case and not keep ringing on their phone.

Is coverage enabled for internal calls?
