We use a COR that restricts all Long distance calls. A long distance authorization code is required to dial L.D.

We also use EC500 to extend an office number to a local cell phone.

Is it possible to extend the office number to a non-local (long distance) cell phone number , using EC500 r AND prompt for an L.D.Authcode ? We want the CDR records to reflect the L.D.Call. Can this be done?

I highly doubt it. Look in the feature description and implementation guide - there's stuff about EC500 and CDR, but I don't think it is secure or sane to automatically pop in LD codes because someone dialed an extension. Let those LD cell numbers out a trunk without a code and find a way to deal with it in CDR.

What's the point of auth codes if they're going to be input automatically by an application? Just use your usual CDR, or intra-switch CDR based off the extension and cell # in the ways that EC500 provides data to CDR.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but it seems wrong to expect the PBX to to pop in the auth code for you!
