EasySync 3.0a and Lotus 6

I am trying to configure a system to sync with his palm m505. I am using easysync 3.0a and hotsync 4.1. When I start up easy sync it states I need atleast lotus 4.1 I am using Lotus 6. Is there any reason that easy sync does not recognize my Lotus and is there a trick to get it to see it. Thanks for any help.

I have previously encountered this problem. The following should solve it.

1) Run regedit.
2) Go to HKEY-LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LOTUS\NOTES\6.0. Export this to somewhere and name it as 5.0.
3) Open up this registry key where you exported it and edit this path [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes\6.0], changing the 6.0 to 5.0.
4) Save and import to registry again.
Try installing easysync again and it should work.
