Does anyone have an easy set up instructions for me to enable the Message Forwarding to email from a CP VM user? I know that I need the Keycode for this. I have just a single user who wants to use this on their CP connected to a MICS. So I believe I just get the ( 1 ) seat auth code CallPilot Desktop Messaging - 1 Seat (NTKC0106

Thanks,

Don't I have to network the CP as well? I usually do not network CP's on small installs.

When I buy the Auth Keycode do I need it to be activated or will just entering the keycode add the UM seat?

If you want the CP to talk to the outside world then yes it needs to be networked.
Big or small the CP should be networked when can so that the customers get what they paid for and can access all feature made available to them.

Message Forwarding only available on BCM CP

1. Purchase Authorization code
2. Generate Auth into key code with KRS system (authorized vendor required)
3. Activate key code on CP.

Log into admin/cos and allow that persons COS Message Forwarding or assign a new COS.
Log into the users MyCallpilot in the browser and go to Message Forwarding to set it up.

For CP100/150 you will need to install Desktop Messaging (Unified Messaging).

ON CP the message cane be forwarded from Outlook to over come the Message Forwarding problem.

Not every customers site has a network available that the CP can be attached into.

This company does have a network.

I meant that for most of my small installations I do not network because I program thru the set and so does the customer because they usually never use all of the rest of the features.

I spoke with Metroline Direct and they do have the keycodes and activation available for a single sets. They do not seem to have much knowledge of how to make this work with Outlook.

I did check with the IT department for this client and they do have a server and they do have Outlook. Is there anyone here who could provide me with help in the event I have any trouble setting this up for this client?

The cost from metroline is 69.00 for one set and a 60.00 activation charge unless someone knows a lower charge for this?

I wanted to get this set up in my office first before I install it.

Thanks
