Easy Question from a Newbie - please help

I have a user of Autocad 2002 that has somehow made the system such that when he clicks a graphical button in AC2002 it is invoking the command line version of the command and not opening a dialog as expected. I expect there's a toggle soemwhere but I haven't found it yet.

Any takers? Hopefully it's an easy one for some of you experts... I'm just the IT guy, not a CAD guy.
