I want to add to the search menu off of the start menu...

Right now I have

Start->Search->People
Printers
On the Internet
For Files and Folders

I would like to add Computers to that list. For the life of me I cannot figure out how. I hate HATE opening the search files and folders option and then having to choose computers. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS? I may go crazy...if I don't receive help....

If you're using Windows 2000, then click on Search-->For Files or Folders. When the window comes up, you can select different searches by clicking on the links on the bottom left-pane. There should be a link for "computers" in the list.

That is exactly what I don't want to do...I really want to have it as an option before I open the window.

Well TonyBose this did not do what I wanted. Xteq just makes browse for computer a choice in the list. I guess maybe I was not completely clear about what I want.
Right now this is how I do it.
1. I click the start menu.
2. I choose search.
3. The search has the options to find people, find on the internet, find printers, find files and folders.
4. I click on find files and folders.
5. The window opens...on the left there is a place to enter the file name and directly below it is the option to search for other items...people, internet, printers, computer

What I want to do is have computer in the list that is explained in (3.) I don't understand why the only option not listed on my submenu is computer.

Well I found a very nice solution to my frustration....SOOOO COOL. It is highly probably that most of you already knew what was up, but I am gonna tell everyone that may not.

If you use the keyboard shortcut
WINKEY + CTRL + F
you will immediately bring up the search for computer dialog. Yayyyyy freedom.....freedom from the cumbersome find start everything but computers....hehehe.

For more very cool shortcuts you can go to...
