Hi,
I am just start to learn Access.
I have a field "charge" which is calculated by the field "Price" multiply by "Quantity". The format of "Price" is currency and that of "Quantity" is decimal. When I preview the report, I found the "charge" having 4 decimal places. I fail to change to currency format with 2 decimal places by setting it in the Property dialog box. How to change it?

Thanks a lot!

In the FORMAT field type in :
$#,###.##;($#,###.##);$0.00

or ;
$#,##0.00;-$#,##0.00;$0.00

or ;
CURRENCY

The other ways is set with CONTROL SOURCES

=FORMAT([Price] * [Quantity], "Currency" )

Thanks cygnut.

Now I have add a text box, in which the control source is set to "=([Price]*[Quantity])". I would like to add a sub total of it in each group footer. How to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!
