Eastern Research DNX and AVAYA DS1 setup

Has anyone configured an Avaya DS1 for use with an Eastern Research DNX? We get errors on the span only when we put traffic on the span. Loopbacks from end to end show no errors, so we think it is a setting somewhere. Any help will be appreciated

I don't have an Eastern DNX but I did have all the same sypmtoms, errors on the span, tests o.k. and it was the CSU connected to the DS1. I reset it but it didn't work had to get a new one, so I went with a Paradyne box.

No luck. we swapped with other know good boards and known good CSU's and still the same. More hints?

Has anyone had any experience with a TDM into a switch.
How did you resolve any errors, or problems getting the circuit to communicate.
