I have a client that wants to stop internet use on some win 2000 pro pc's. There is no domain, they are stand alone. I was thinking of just removing internet explorer from their profile. Any ideas?

Thanks

If they are connecting thru a router, you can block their IP or port.. Matt Wray

ahhhhhh found the fix for ya buddy.....go into your intnet option located in your control panel or browser....under security do a custom level setting and down at the bottom it has a bubble for prompt for user name and password...that should fix them.....

no offense intended matt but he stated that they were stand alone systems...i could be wrong by what he meant by not on a domain also....either way moetech.....matt is right with the ip or port block through a router....you can all use zonealarm on those system and password lock it as well and wipe out all internet capablility on those systems...
