I am having difficulties with netscreen remote. For some reason Earthlink requires my boss to use WinPoet to connect over his DSL. This would normally be fine but WinPoet will only connect to the DSL after Netscreen Remote is uninstalled. I'm sure my problem is clear to see now because I use Netscreen Remote for the VPN connection. Is NS Remote taking a port that WinPoet needs. If so can it be changed. Any ideas? Thanks

Earthlink WinPoet conflict w/ Netscreen Remote

I just recently changed backto Earthlink DSL and as a result they sent me a new Modem. The instructions said to use the software, but I connected the trusted side of my 5XP to it instead and used the PPPOe in the Netscreen. I have the entire network online without WinPoet. I do know that Earthlink blocks a number of ports but I wonder if your boss can use this solution.
