We recently applied the NIMDA anti virus and IIS lockdown patches from Microsoft. Since we applied these patches, I began receiving two errors during my nightly backup with ArcServe. The first is E8602 Failed to read from database.(301) The second error is E8604 (68) Error status in named pipe. I checked the ArcServe FAQs. It suggested that I restart the RPC server service. The service is currently running and the stop button is grayed out. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.
