We are experiencing e6500 (Client connect to tape failed) and e3537 (Failed to connect to media). We've tried deleting all r* files in the database directory per CA's knowledgebase, and this works for a day or so, but the errors return and the backup fails.

Anybody know of another solution?

Yeah, I've tried both. I still get the error messages.

Thanks,

Robert

We had similar problems out of the blue. After 10 hours on the phone with Dell Gold support, they contacted CA and were told to have us apply qo24708.caz. Son of a gun -- it worked. I only applied it to the SAN Primary Server, and it is ok for all the servers in the Primary/Distributed environment. I am pretty relieved.
