E3841 unable to find session number

i have sometimes problems with merging a fullbackup which spans over 6 tapes. I can merge the first 13 sessions and then i got the following error messages:

20021112 105330 721 Use media 04.11.02 15:22, ID 837C, sequence #3
20021112 105330 721 E3801 Invalid session header signature. (SIG=ffffffff)
20021112 105330 721 0 Directories 0 Files (0 KB) Merged from Media.

or

20021112 110828 722 Start Merge Operation. (QUEUE=1, JOB=9)
20021112 111018 722 E3841 Unable to find session number. (MEDIA=04.11.02 15:22, SESSION=21, EC=EARLY WARNING)
20021112 111100 722 Merge Operation Failed.

I have AS IT 6.61 Build 834SP2a running on NT4 SP6a. The Database i use ist MS-SQL 7.0.

Have anyone an idea?

I too have this problem, I'm running Nt4 SP6a, ARCserve2000 AE SP4, Compaq TL891DLX tape library. There is a fix on the CA support site for scans that fail with similar errors, so I'm going to try that as my next step.

I test it, but the Fix doesn´t work with AS 6.61
