Has Anyone seen this error? We are trying to do a message level restore back to an Exchange 2003 server. Both the Arcserve server and the Exchange premium add on agent are Arcserve 11.1 with SP1 installed.

Here is the exchange log entry.

It almost looks like a Tape Drive Issue. Any thoughts.

disappointed about this issue and I setup a new server for our backup job, worked fine for me!!
but I wonder why we use the same software(ARCServe and windows 2000),but get the different result??

Myauto,
tapedrive\libraries, patch levels, antivirus software, server settings all have an impact on the backup software. This setup had worked for us in the past as well. At some point it stopped working. Unfortunatly we didn't realize it stopped working until we selected the folders to be restored and the job failed.

Swapped out the Quantum Superloader with the Quantum Superloader we use for user backups. Same result.
CA also had us install a patch on the Windows 2003 server that exchange is running on.
Same result.
I'm starting to lean towards the database is somehow corrupt and telling the restore job to look for data in a place that doesn't exist. It seems weird that it is only the Exchange agent part that would be corrupt.
