A few days ago, I sent a very large e-mail from GroupWise and it seems to have been too large for the server to handle. The server is now continually displaying “out of space” errors. If I delete some files from the volume that GroupWise is installed on, within an hour, all the space is gone again. The e-mail also never arrived at the recipient’s location. Is it in a queue within GroupWise? I have deleted the copy of the e-mail from GroupWise client in "Sent Items" but is it possible to find out if the server is still trying to send this e-mail and if it is, delete it.

Thanks in advance!

Urr, Just copy some words from GWPDF. It's GW6.5.
I haven't tested that way, but you may try it.
And I also don't take responsibile for what will happen on your server.
First of all,open the C1
1. Gathering Mailbox Statistics
1)Click Tools > GroupWise Utilities > Mailbox/Library Maintenance.
2) From the Action drop-down menu, select Mailbox Statistics.
3) Select Mailbox Statistics.
Then,you can see the contents.

2.Reducing the Size of User and Message Databases
1)Click Tools > GroupWise Utilities > Mailbox/Library Maintenance.
2)From the Action drop-down menu, select Expire/Reduce Messages.
3) Click Reduce Only to delete items that have already expired.

3.Reclaiming Disk Space in Domain and Post Office Databases
Which is very important for u. I think it is, at least.

1)Click Tools > GroupWise Utilities > System Maintenance.
2)Select Reclaim Unused Space, then Run.

Wish ur are good luck.

Hi,

It's possible, the space being chewed up that fast, that you have a looping email. Is GWIA on this server?

There are many Novell TIDs on how to troubleshoot and stop looping mail on their site.
