E-Business Shopping Cart Issue

I'm going to get this out of the way first. I loathe and abhor Sage's web store software. The coding sucks, it's unpolished and it gets next to no support whatsoever from Sage staff. That said, I've been trying to modify the Javascript so that the web store will work in more browsers than just Internet Explorer. I also made a few adjustments to the web form. Now, when a user attempts to add items to the shopping cart, it says on the main page that it's updated, but when a user goes to the shopping cart to check out, the shopping cart is empty. I need to know what retarded dependencies the Buy button has (oh yeah, and I still use the default Sage code for the button itself) so I can figure this out.

I've had the web store work in IE and Firefox. I haven't tried other browsers.

What type of adjustments did you make? Do you have an example site?
