Dynatel 745 Loop Tester Manual/Schematic 1

I picked up a used 745 recently. It only powers up when connected to 12 volts and in charging mode.

My guess is the battery is totally dead.

Does anyone have a service manual for this?

Does anyone know the battery type/specs (I'd like to find out how much a generic replacement will be before ripping into the unit).

I have the same questions about the Dynatel 745 as you do. Did you have any luck getting an answer?

Nope.

I am about ready to pull the unit apart and have a look at the battery. I took a quick look inside and it looks like as long as I take notes it should not be too hard to remove the boards and get to the battery underneath.

I'll post my finding.
