Hi,
Does anyone have an idea in Microsoft Access 97, if content on a form can be generated dynamically? I need an example as if someone clicked on a button and a textbox was then created. Can't really use hidden objects, because I need an example like, on button, it says "Create new user" and then a new textbox is generated.
Cheers,
Mark.

Yes. Most likely you will want to use multiple Instances of the same form. One is hidden and in design mode, the other is visible and in form mode. You work on the visible form and modify the hidden form. Then use the values off of the visible form the set the hidden form. Open the hidden instance and close the visible one. Probably need some more details, how you want this to work. You have not convinced me that you can not use hidden objects. Obviously it would be far simpler. With a hidden text box you could programmatically set the recordsource, name, etc.

Cheers,
I want something like this. When a button is clicked, it creates a new row in table for a user to enter, say a new staff member details. This needs to be done dynamically.
Cheers,
Mark.

it creates a new row in table
Why not simply follow the wizard to create a bound form ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
