Can anyone suggest a reference for dynamic SQL? I would like to do more research on the subject.

Mary,

When you say 'dynamic SQL' I assume you mean run-time, module-level SQL.

If you click on tlBroadbent's name on the expert list to the right of the posts you can follow any of the threads he's participated in.

Part of his signature is an FAQ which has links to reference sources in numbers 3 and 4.

Reading some of his posts would probably provide a good deal of insight as well.

I recommend the following Microsoft articles.

ACC2000: Query by Form (QBF) Using Dynamic QueryDef

ACC2000: How to Simulate Parameters in an SQL Pass-Through Query

Microsoft provides a downloadable sample database with over 20 different query examples.

Microsoft has placed an entire book about Access development on the Web.

I recommend reading some of the articles at MVPS.ORG. They also include sample code.
