I would like to set a Public variable in my application called "LastUpdate" and store the date that an upload took place, this would then be displayed on my Switchboard when the application is opened.

The variable value will then need to be updated and stored following the upload of data done via another form in the application. Then when the application is opened the next time it will show the new "lastupdate" value.

Can someone explain how this can be done.
Thanks

To keep a value permanently you should store it in a table.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks PHV, I thought there might be a way of doing this without a table but will gladly accept your expertise here.
