Dynamic picture loading? 1

I have a Flash company directory which connects to a database to retrieve various pieces of information on the selected employee. I have pictures of each employee on the server that I'd like to display in my application. Is there any way I can dynamically retrieve a picture like that without first importing each and every picture into my project's library? Thanks.

In Flash MX you can load jpgs just like how you would load another swf. frozenpeas

I think, you also can use Flash Generator Object for this subject. It usefull for both Flash 5 and MX.

Thanks guys... I don't suppose anyone would care to share an example of code or something? I'm very new to Flash, and I'm not sure even how to load another .swf movie yet. Thanks again.

i'd take care that the jpgs are not saved in progressive mode since as far as i know loading them dynamically won't work in this case.
