Dynamic Picklist in CE10

We are evaluating CE10, we planned to use ePortfolio to schedule reports and use as much standard CE feature as possible, i.e. minimal coding. We hit an issue that it seems to me CE10 do not have, being 'dynamic picklist' for report parameters.

Appreciate if anybody can share their experience on how to achieve.

APOS has a 3rd party tool that we are looking at using for CE-10.

Rumor has it that "Business Objects XI" will contain dynamic parameters for both the desktop Crystal Reports application and the web-based Crystal Enterprise environment. Expecting it to be released in the next few months - you may want to speak with your BO vendor for a sneak-peek.

I know that some of the folks on this board were in the Beta test group for BO-XI, they might have some details to add about dynamic parameters in the new release.

We have implemented a customized dynamic picklist in the CE9 environment. I have written the port for CE10, but we have deferred making the leap to 10 in production. Since we are a fairly small shop, our code may not be industrial strength but it works.

If you can wait a few weeks, Crystal Reports 11 will support Dynamic/Cacading parameters!
