The report in Crystal Reports 2008 would not show all the LOV's in Dynamic Parameter when you add a record selection. Without record selection, it will list all values. Does anyone knows why and has a good explanation on this? Thanks.

Record selection (report->selection formula->record) should have no impact on the LOV for a dynamic parameter.
Do you happen to be using a command as your datasource, with record selection built into it? Or are you adding tables directly to the report and linking them? Are you using a field from a command for your LOV? I think we need more information on what you are doing.

Thanks. It is using a command as a data source and it does not have a record selection built in it. It is using a field from a command. Let me know what information's you need. Thanks again.

Note that when using a command as your main report datasource, you should build the record selection into the command itself.

Try adding a separate command just for the LOV. Do not link this command to the main report command, and do not reference this command except to populate the LOV.
