Report has a dynamic date prompt. The report has been working fine until now. Now, every time the report is refreshed, the following error appears:
---------------------------
"Prompting failed with the following error message: 'List of Values failure: fail to get values. [Cause of error: Unknown erro 0x80040200]'
Error Source: prompt.dll Error code 0x8004380D"

---------------------------

The report is connected to a SQL Server login via an ODBC connection with SQL Server authentication.

I've done the following:
1. I created a new ODBC connection and performed set datasource location. Still get error mssg.
2. I've replaced the prompt.dll file from another machine. Still get error mssg.
3. I've performed a verify database. Still get error mssg.
4. I even created a new report (just something real simple) with a dynamic prompt - and the dynamic prompt pulls data from a separate table and a different data type - and still get the error message. So, the error appears to be related to any dynamic prompt.

Any ideas?

Jello,

I am also getting similar error, when I created a new report using dynamic parameters.

I tried many things and did lot of research but no luck.

I just hope someone finds a solution for this.

Goodluck
