Dynamic loading option list

I have four Multiple Select option lists.
1st - chosenCars
2nd - AvailableCars
3rd - chosenModels
4th - AvailableModels

1st and 2nd have a relation between them the cars in 1st list wont be in the 2nd and one can move them from 1st to 2nd or vice versa by means of "<<" and ">>" buttons (Javascript).

Similar is the relation between 3rd and 4th option lists.

Now what I want to do is that when I add or remove cars from the 1st list, the 4th option list should reload itself because the available models would only be for the chosen cars and not all cars. In other words list 4 is dependent on list 1.

Can somebody help me in doing that ?

Hi ggriffit,
Im still not able to get out of this prblm.
Both the cars and models are coming from the database and atleast 15 each in number. They have many to many association between them. Can you xplain me in more detail.
The example of the list I want can be seen at:

here the community and language are related in very much the same way as I want in my list.
Im not a pro in Javascript, so plz post detailed answer.

If I were you I would start with the example at

and get to grips with something like that before starting something more complex.

If what you want is identical to

then you can have a look at the Javascript/HTML on that page and see how they have got it to work.
