Hi, I'm new to this and don't know where to get an answer to this so I'm hoping someone here can help.
I run a taxi company and each cab has a PDA which connects back to our office via the GPRS network to a fixed IP address on our ADSL line back in the office. The problem is if that ADSL line goes down then communication is lost until its back up.
It would be great if the software would allow us to use a dynamic IP like the ones from noip.com but unfortunately it only accepts IP numbers. We have more than one ADSL line in the office but reprogramming the units in the cabs would be impractical. Here’s the question is there anyway to redirect an IP address. If we set all the units to say 79.123.123.123 and that in turn was directed to 79.124.124.124 then if that IP/ADSL line went down we could redirect to say 79.125.125.125 and it would be invisible to the taxi drivers. I would really appreciate your help.
