I'm not sure this is the BEST way to go about it, but i need to print out a yearly report grouped by date. I think i've set up the groupings correctly, but i want a header for each month. The problem is that a fiscal year doesn't start on january, so either i pull the months off of the query i'm using to populate the report, or find some other way

thanks!!

I did this not too long ago, after much reading and two cigs later this is what I think I did.

Make your date a header and group them by month, keep them together by Whole Group. The properties of your date field (format) should be MMM YY.

Give that a try.

Thanks I got it working similar to that. Added a text box in the header, set its control source = format([Date], "mmm") and it works just fine =)
