Hi all,
I have a "silly question" about Dynamic Disk but for which I hae not been able to find the answer yet.
I was wondering if it is possible to install Windows 2000 in a Dynamic Disk or better in a simple volume; to be more precise I DON'T want to create a primary partition and the upgrade the basic disk to a Simple Volume, in other words I want to upgrade my HDD directly to Dynamic Disk, then create the Simple Volume (NTFS) and installing windows 2000.

Thanks in advance for your help

Have a nice week-end

Dynamic disk is a feature just of WIn2k. I'm wondering how can you already prepare the disk having a dynamic one.
I can see only one possibility.
Install WIndows 2k on that partition. Partition willl be in basic mode. upgrade the partition at dynamic one ( just upgrade will reserve the partition table information.).
Then uninstall/reinstall the new win2k. Gia Betiu
