dynamic data and tweened text

i want to make some tweened text dynamic..apart from loading data from a db is there anything else i am supposed to know?

One thing that a lot of people miss is that it's important to embed the font of the dynamic text box if you're going to tween its _alpha or colour settings.

Otherwise as long as you're confident with pulling text from the DB via LoadVars() or whatever and know how to use the instance name or variable name of the textbox to show the data you should be okay.

You nest it in a movie clip, which you then tween!
And you do make sure the font is embedded.

You select the textfield and in it's properties hit the Character tab, and select Embed All... Or only the chatacters needed.
