Dynamic Cascading Prompting

I have created a dynamic cascading prompting in CR XI where the user first selects the Supplier (multiple selections allowed) and then selects the Part Number(s) for the selected Supplier(s).

It works fine...except, I only get a list of 72 Suppliers at the first level (out of 9,814), but can get hundreds of Part Numbers at the second level, depending on the Supplier(s) selected.

Is there a setting somewhere that limits the number of records for the prompt?

So what is wrong with your results? You have not made this clear. Please explain your desired results versus your current results.

Dynamic cascading parameters are limited to 1000 results in the registry. If the second level parameter would result in more than that, the first level is limited. You can do a search to see other posts on this topic and how to change the registry key if you feel comfortable doing this.

dgillz...what is wrong is that I have 9,000+ vendors in my database and only the first 72 of them show up to choose from.

lbass...thank you for the registry information, I will search for it. I am comfortable editing the registry, so once I find the post I can make the required changes.
