I have a DVD-rom L&G DRD-8160 that works before windows XP starts (thats how I installed windows), but when I get into windows It gives me an "Entry Point Not Found" error for whatever file I am trying to open on the CD. It will read the CD. I can copy stuff from the CD onto the Hard Drive, but it wont open either. Any Ideas??

This sounds like hardware incompatability with Win XP. No suprise there then.
Have a look at the L&G website , they may have come up with a work around for this or even a driver.

I have the LG 4480b installed on Xp and working.Check to see iff the ide channel it's hooked to is looking for cdrom in your bios.primary slave or secondary master /slave. It will work in auto detect but will find it as new hardware every other boot up.
