To whom it may concern.

I want to use Director 8.6 to design an interactive documentary that will contain lots of video captured on a sony digital camcorder and edited in Premiere 6.0. I would like to have full screen video at a high resolution.
I know that if I make a CD-ROM I will have to compress my video and screen it at 320 by 240 because I only have 700 mb of space.

I have never made a DVD and need ot make a decision on whether to create a CD or a DVD. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it fairly easy to program a DVD in director 8.6? Do you have any information regarding video and how large (dimensions and megabytes) it should be?

I would appreciate any guidance or advice ASAP.

Thanks so much

Ané

Perhaps if you are lucky enough to be using a mac! you could try IDVD for dvd with high quality video. It isa pretty straight forward program compared to premiere. but if your not on a mac - uh well? sorry if this is no help
