Recently I had six very old cine films commercially transfered to DVD, the result was not too bad, quality wise , but some sections have deteriorated badly ( 30 years old ) and some gaps between the 6 different sections.
I would like to edit out the "bad bits" and perhaps add some music (cine films had no sound track all those years ago)
Can any body tell me how to do this in Premiere 6.5, ie edit a DVD disc in Premiere,
Thanks for any help
Tom

there are a couple ways to do it. the easiest way would be to play the DVD video through a DV camera to capture it directly to Premiere then you could do all of the editing and audio overlays export it back out as an MPEG 2 then author another DVD and then it would be done. :)

ThanksJasond727, but I do not a DV camera or know anybody that has one.
Could you find the time to suggest the other way you mentioned
Thanks
Tom
