I currently have an IP406 V2 running Duvoice for voicemail and fax integration. I am pretty happy with Duvoice, but would love to have queing that I do not get from Duvoice. We are heavy users of combination voice and fax mailboxes with users that do not have physical phones.

My options seem to be to go to VM Pro or, if possible, use a combination of Duvoice for voicemail and faxmail, and Voicemail Lite/Pro for queing. Is it even possible to use both simultaneously? Secondly, for those of you familiar with Duvoice, will I get the same funcionality from VoiceMail Pro that I get from Duvoice, especially the voice/fax combination mailboxes?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

VMPro would be the way to go. You can't use them simultaneously. You will get much better functionality from VM Pro than the Duvoice in IMO. The only place I ever deploy a Duvoice on IPO in in a hospitality environment.

Even for the fax to email capability? That's my biggest concern. We have about 1000 users w/o actual physical phones that just use voicemail and faxmail, all of which goes to their email.

Why not add the Multitech FaxFinder unit for the Fax to Email capability. A 2 port Multitech Fax Server (FaxFinder 200) has a MSRP of $999.00!

Hope this helps

Actually we already have an 8 port multitech fax modem that we could potentially roll into a compatible fax server. Just want to make sure the fax integration and cng detection within a users voicemail box works well.

Hi mwiddows. Can't help you with your problem, but maybe you could help me? I am looking for information on the Duvoice. Look at my post titled "Callback Escalations Again". The DV4 documentation says it can do "Scheduled notification to multiple pager or telephone numbers on urgent or all messages". Does it work? Can you give me more info on it?

Thanks in advance.
