Duplicating Projects when Republishing

When I republish assignments on Project Server, the Project I am working on duplicates itself. This is very annoying and I can't figure out why this keeps happening - any suggestions?

Version of MS Project is 2002. I don't know the version of MS Project Server web access but I assume it is also 2002. Thanks.

This is a known issue in P2002 Enterprise (it does seem to be happening in P2003).

There seem to be several scenarios that *might* cause it including opening several plans at once and then attempting to save one of them using the Save As... command.
