Duplicated Windows 98 Installation

I reinstalled windows 98 and I think that the original 98 install was not overwritten and therefore still resides on the hard drive.Is this a possibility and if so how do I find and remove the old duplicated copy?Thanks for your help..Jim Verhey
 
Simplest is deltree windows. But be sure you have a windows.000 directory as the vaild one. Ed Fair

Thanks for your responsere my windows98 dupe question.What is meant by deltree windows? What is meant by windows.ooo directory? Thanks, Jim Verhey
 
Pull up windows explorer and see if there are multiple windows folders since there can only be one main windows folders any other folders will be named windows.000 or such.
